Your Portrait Experience
1. Before Your Session
We will start planning your session either in person or over the phone. I'll learn more about you, what matters most to you and what type of session you are interested in. From there, we discuss your artwork and how you'd like your photographs presented whether you'd like a large statement piece on the wall about the couch or your prefer an album or folio box.. I'll then chat to you about your style preferences. For example, whether you want candid and casual photography or something a little more posed and formal. Or, if you prefer outdoors to studio.
I'll also chat to you about wardrobe and make suggestions based on your style preferences discussed. Wardrobe choices are really important particularly when considering Wall Portraits as they need to work with the colours of the room they will be displayed in and decor.
Once these details are decided we then choose a suitable date and location!
2. Your Portrait Session
I will meet you on location at our agreed time or welcome you into my home studio where you will have a warm and comfortable space to relax and prepare. Your session will run for approximately 1 hour where I will guide you into the most natural and flattering poses and bring out your natural expressions. If hair and makeup is required then please allow another 1 hour.
Modern Beauty sessions take up to 3 hours to allow for up to 4 different wardrobe changes and looks as well as hair and makeup.
3. Design and Order Appointment
A few days after your portrait session I welcome you back to my cosy home studio where I present to you your collection of beautiful photographs as a moving slide show projected up on the wall. We then discuss your design options over refreshments and nibbles. This is when you can decide exactly what you would like to order to suit your needs. There is no hard sell! Only buy what you absolutely love.
Payments can be made by credit card or cash and payment plans are available.
Your artwork will then be delivered to you between 2-6 weeks afterwards.
